In the role as Senior Engineer – Mechanical Large Bore Engine Development you will be responsible for leading several small to large development projects on system or application level. Typical areas of focus for this role are cylinder head and valvetrain, powertrain, hydraulics as well as main structural systems, each for natural gas, non-natural gas as well as e-fuels applications. In this role you will partner closely with key suppliers, external partners as well as internal teams inside and outside the Engineering organisation. The nature of the job is to guide and/or execute design, analysis, testing, validation and project management tasks as needed as well as lead and guide less experienced team members.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Act as Project Lead for small to large scale development projects
  • Guide and lead team members from different engineering disciplines (Analysis, Design, Validation, Performance, Controls)
  • Partner closely with other parts of the organisation (Manufacturing, Sourcing, Service, Quality)
  • Build relationship to key suppliers as part of the Innio team
  • Apply Innio Development process
  • Facilitate the decision making process by engaging all needed stakeholders
  • Own and build up relevant and critical technical know how areas
Your Profile:
  • Bachelor/Master’s degree or Ph.D., in Engineering or similar
  • Extensive relevant experience in Product & Reciprocating Engine Development
  • Profound experience in several fields such as design, analysis, validation, project management
  • Proven record to drive execution in a cross functional process landscape
  • Experience in intercultural and cross functional cooperation as well as strong negotiating skills and assertiveness
  • Fluent in English (German is a plus)
  • Willingness to travel (~10%)
The base pay is composed of the amount according to the Austrian collective agreement which is at least EUR 4.269,07 gross per month (x 14) and an over payment depending on your qualifications and experience.
